Terms of Service

Welcome to CricketDream. By accessing or using cricketdream.in (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
• By registering, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
• The Platform is available globally, subject to local laws in your jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that use of the Platform complies with laws applicable to you.
• We reserve the right to restrict access from any jurisdiction where operating the Platform would require local registration, licensing, or compliance not currently in place.

2. Free Platform — No Real-Money Gaming

CricketDream is a 100% free fantasy sports entertainment platform:

• No entry fee or deposit is required to participate in any game mode.
• No real money, prizes, cash rewards, or equivalent value is offered or transferable.
• No betting, wagering, or gambling element exists on the Platform.
• Points and leaderboard rankings are for entertainment and bragging rights only.

Regulatory status: As a free-to-play platform with no monetary stakes, CricketDream is not subject to the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Amendment Rules, 2023 (real-money online gaming provisions) or the Online Gaming Act, 2025. No GST is charged. No registration with any Self-Regulatory Body (SRB) is required.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You may not create or operate more than one account.
• You must not use automated bots, scripts, or other means to manipulate scores, leagues, or the leaderboard.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

4. Prohibited Conduct

As required under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, users must not use the Platform to:

• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, or harmful to any individual or group.
• Threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, or India's relations with foreign states.
• Engage in any activity that constitutes an offence under Indian law, including the IT Act 2000, IPC, or any other applicable law.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or chain messages through league or draft features.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its servers, or other users' accounts.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Platform.
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
• Violate any third-party intellectual property rights.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, reporting to law enforcement, and civil or criminal liability as applicable.

5. Fantasy Scoring & Points

Fantasy points are calculated based on real match statistics sourced from third-party cricket data APIs. While we strive for accuracy:

• Points are calculated automatically and may take a few hours to update after a match ends.
• Scoring rules are displayed within the Platform and may be updated between seasons with notice.
• We are not responsible for errors, delays, or inaccuracies in third-party match data.
• Scoring disputes must be raised within 48 hours of a match result through the Platform. Our decision on scoring disputes is final.
• We reserve the right to correct obvious scoring errors at any time, even retroactively.

6. Draft Rooms & Private Leagues

• Draft rooms and private leagues are user-created spaces. We do not moderate their content in real time.
• You must not use league or draft features for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Section 4.
• League creators are responsible for sharing their invite codes responsibly and only with eligible participants.
• We may remove any league or draft room that violates these Terms without notice.
• No monetary stakes, side-bets, or prizes may be attached to any league or draft hosted on this Platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content on the Platform — including the CricketDream name, logo, design, and code — is owned by CricketDream and may not be copied, reproduced, or commercially used without written permission.

Player names, team names, IPL franchises, and related marks are the intellectual property of their respective owners (BCCI, IPL, franchise owners, etc.). CricketDream uses this information solely for fantasy gameplay purposes and does not claim ownership of any such marks. Use of these names on the Platform does not constitute endorsement by or affiliation with their owners.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The Privacy Policy complies with the DPDP Act 2023 and DPDP Rules 2025. By using the Platform you also accept our Privacy Policy.

9. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints related to Platform content and conduct:

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• Match data, player statistics, or scores will be 100% accurate or up-to-date.
• Any errors or defects will be corrected within any specified timeframe.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law — including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — CricketDream and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Since the Platform is entirely free of charge, our maximum total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is ₹0.

12. Platform Availability & Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We may also change these Terms at any time — the updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through the grievance mechanism in Section 9. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
